The boys and girls in Watergrasshill NS had a great time celebrating World Space Week 2024, which ran from October 4th to 11th! The walls of the corridors and classrooms were decorated with amazing artwork.
5th class learned all about the ISS this week for Space Week. They finished up by making an end effector for the Canada Arm!
2nd Class learned about Gravity and how it pulls everything to the centre of the Earth. The children also learned how to feel the force of gravity for themselves. Daniel shared a space rocket that his Dad had made using a 3D printer at work.
Senior Infants also had great fun during Space Week!
