In late November our very own Mr. Griffin will be one of 50 GAA players from all over the country travelling to Kenya for one week to participate in the ‘Plant the Planet Games’ initiative to raise funds for ‘Self – Help Africa.’ He will be planting trees, visiting schools and local villages while also carrying out other duties that will provide a sustainable income for many of the people and families in Kenya for years to come. Each player has made a promise to raise €10,000 to support the initiative.
In support of this the school will be holding a ‘Jersey Day’ on Friday 27th September. We ask all children to wear a jersey of their choice and to make any donation if you may wish in support of this or through the link below.
