Hi all,

I just wanted to let you know that the Ion Torrent Genexus machine that we had been helping to fundraise for has gone into production and is starting to make a huge difference to the lives of people in the Munster area. All the benefits

Looking back this fundraising effort grew from a bucket list thing where James and Brian where going to climb Carrauntoohil with me and a smallish group. James had the idea of opening to McAfee and the response was phenomenal, my daughter Caoimhe wanted to go on the climb but being too young she had the idea of a kids climb up Corrin Hill in Fermoy, again the response from Watergrasshill NS and Glenville NS was first class (climbing both Carrauntoohil and Corrin J) and as word spread the community response again has been outstanding and within no time this grew into a little mini festival for want of better words with tea’s coffee’s and cakes in the community centre followed by a disco for the smallies!

Under the stewardship and leadership of Michael Nason we joined with other groups and people who where also fundraising for a single purpose has led to this great achievement.

So thanks to everyone again, it truly is a team effort – its takes a village.

Thanks,

Mick
